1. Remove testPoint icon from the menu bar extras

By default, testPoint icon will be shown in menu bar extras.
This icon can be removed from menu bar - a useful approach for low resolution monitors.
Open testPoint menu and click on the "General preferences" item.
Deselect the "Show testPoint icon" checkbox.
Safety note:
If you are using hotkeys, please remember the "Toggle icon visibility" hotkey - it's the fastest way to return testPoint in menu bar extras.
Default combination is ⇧⌃⌥⌘ Space.

2. Open testPoint panel when testPoint icon is removed from menu bar

In this case, testPoint panel can be shown in two ways:
  • Relaunch testPoint (while it is already running in the background) from the Applications folder.
  • Or use the "Open testPoint panel" hotkey (default: ⌃⌥⌘ P):

3. Return testPoint icon in menu bar

The icon can be shown in two ways:
  • Open testPoint panel:
    • Relaunch testPoint from the Applications folder.
    • Or use the "Open testPoint panel" hotkey (default: ⌃⌥⌘ P).
    And select the "Show testPoint icon" checkbox:
  • Or use the "Toggle icon visibility" hotkey (default: ⇧⌃⌥⌘ Space).
